How to Read an HPLC Purity Graph: A Directory Guide

October 4, 2026

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is the standard analytical benchmark used by independent laboratories to verify the chemical identity and purity of research materials and supplements. When viewing a Certificate of Analysis (COA), look for the main peak on the chromatogram graph. The area under this peak relative to total peaks determines the purity percentage. For reference-grade materials, look for a purity calculation of 99% or higher. Always cross-reference the batch number on the report with the physical product label to ensure batch-specific transparency.
